Oil & Gas

Corrosion and wear protection systems designed for upstream and downstream oil operations.

Our Expertise

Upstream and downstream oil and gas assets face sour service, HIC, erosion and CUI (corrosion under insulation). Induscoat specifies coating and lining systems for pipe repair, tank floors and vessel internals according to the documented environment and applicable project requirements. Our teams work under site HSE plans, hot-work controls and confined-space protocols where required.

Key Challenges We Solve

  • NACE-compliant pipeline coating
  • Tank floor and vessel lining
  • CUI (corrosion under insulation) mitigation
Equipment

Equipment We Protect

  • Above-ground storage tanks (AST) and tank floors
  • Pressure vessels and separators
  • Pipeline segments and risers
  • Heat exchangers and tube-sheets
  • Process piping under thermal insulation
Constraints

Operational Constraints

  • Sour service (H₂S) and HIC susceptibility of carbon steel
  • Corrosion under insulation (CUI) in cyclic temperature service
  • ATEX environment with strict hot-work and confined-space protocols
  • NACE/AMPP and API 653 compliance for tank and pipeline integrity
Products

Recommended Products & Brands

  • Lining selected for tank floors and vessel internals
  • Polymer coating selected for CUI mitigation
  • Repair compound for flange faces and heat-exchanger tube-sheets
Shutdowns

Types of Shutdowns

  • Planned turnaround (every 4–6 years, 21–45 day shutdown)
  • Tank inspection and cleaning outage (API 653, 10–20 year cycle)
  • Emergency shutdown on leak detection, fire or gas alarm
Risk mitigation

Risks We Help You Avoid

  • Environmental spill from tank floor or pipeline failure
  • Asset loss from fire or explosion in ATEX service
  • H₂S exposure and HIC-driven equipment failure
  • Regulatory penalties for non-compliance with API 653 / NACE MR0175

Sector FAQ

Are your repairs compliant with API 510, API 653 and NACE?

Yes. Our composite repairs of pressure equipment follow ASME PCC-2 and ISO 24817, our storage-tank work meets API 653, and our coatings for H₂S service meet NACE MR0175. Every project is documented with procedure, qualification and quality control, for regulatory and insurance audits.

Can you repair a leak on a live pipeline?

Depending on the fluid, pressure and temperature, we apply ASME PCC-2-certified tolerant composite wraps on live or isolated lines. For high pressures and hazardous fluids (H₂S, hydrocarbons), shutdown remains necessary. We assess each case with your HSE team.

Which oil and gas sectors do you serve in Canada?

Refineries in Quebec and Ontario, storage terminals, transmission pipelines, natural-gas facilities, petrochemical plants and compressor stations. Our crews intervene in ATEX zones with work permits and HSE plans.
